[nafex] rootstocks without grafting?

While looking through the Bailey catalog I see that they offer a number of trees intended to be used as rootstocks for grafting.

Might any of these be grown for their own fruit?

Pear, Old Home x Farmingdale 87 (tree is 61-70% size of common pear)

Myrobalan plum
