C.mas in full bloom here in KY right now.

Saw a post on Facebook one night last week... nice photo, with caption
"Cornus mas fruit" , and underneath, the 'see translation hypertext'...
clicked on it... "Cornus more fruit"... from Spanish....
Duh. I knew 'mas' meant 'more' in el Espanol... but I'm not certain that
that is where that specific epithet came from.
