[nafex] rootstocks without grafting?
While looking through the Bailey catalog I see that they offer a number of trees intended to be used as rootstocks for grafting.
Might any of these be grown for their own fruit?
Pear, Old Home x Farmingdale 87 (tree is 61-70% size of common pear)
Pear, Old Home x Farmingdale 97 (tree is 71-90% size of common pear)
Cherry, Gisela 6 (a cross of /Prunus cerasus/ and /Prunus canescens/)
Cherry, Gisela 12 (a cross of /Prunus cerasus/ and /Prunus canescens/)
Myrobalan plum
Myrobalan plum x Peach, Krymsk 86
